Privacy
How we handle your information.
Last updated — 1 September 2026
webapplogic is a software consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia. This note explains, in plain English, what personal information this website collects and how we handle it, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
The personal information this website collects is what you choose to send us through the contact form:
- your name and email address;
- your company name, if you provide it;
- the type of work you select from the "What's it about?" menu, if you choose one;
- whatever you write in your message.
One further item is collected automatically: when you submit the form, our server briefly holds your IP address so it can limit automated spam submissions. It's used only for that check, isn't stored alongside your enquiry, and isn't used to identify or track you.
This site does not use analytics trackers, advertising cookies or social-media pixels.
How we use it
We use your details for one purpose: to read, assess and respond to your enquiry. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Where it's stored
Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email and handled through our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) and our email systems. Like most Australian businesses, we rely on reputable cloud providers whose infrastructure may process data outside Australia.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it's relevant to the conversation or an engagement that follows from it, and we delete it when it's no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Reach us through the contact form and we'll act on it promptly.
Changes to this note
If we add capabilities to this site that change how information is handled — for example an AI chat assistant or analytics — we'll update this note first.
